@cybercpu I'm a bit more nuanced about it all. Sure it might benefit some games but this is going to make SO many AAA devs lazy, do less work and still charge us £60 a fucking game, if they don't decide to up it to £70 or even £100. That's $70, $80 and $120 usd roughly.

DLSS 5 got trolled pretty hard but do you notice that out of nowhere almost every post on Twitter now is people defending it. That's not organic. That's a paid campaign.

Like DLSS 5 is doing the same basic thing as the meme example. It is over lighting the face and making sections of the skin on his face look oddly wet/shiny and illuminating his face as if he is being g hit with a spotlight on a stage.

This is it. This is the best example of why DLSS 5 looks bad using a real world person as an example. It isn't making things look more realistic. Its adding lights randomly and making every texture look super relective.

@SternabR6 @HUN2R I'm a sucker for environmental story telling though. It's why I love games like Doom Eternal or Gears of War. The other games you mentioned differ somewhat in gameplay and style but not enough, like it's a similar game with a different skin if you get what I mean.

Soft parenting is the reason why kids are so disrespectful and weak nowadays. We’re raising a generation of brats because parents are too scared to give a real lesson. My older son made a mess of my tools and spilled paint everywhere so I made him face the wall for 10 minutes. My wife started an argument with me and said I should be soft with him because he’s a child. We’re not doing them any favors by being soft because they’ll never learn how to follow a simple rule. It’s better to face a wall for a few minutes than to get hit with a belt like I used to. If you just let kids do whatever they want, they grow up to be spoiled brats who expect everything for free. I want my son to listen to me and know there are consequences in this house. You’re failing your children if you think being their friend is more important than being their parent. Good luck dealing with your kids when they’re older and still have no respect for your home.
