@TimothyAKlein @JohnWhitneyIIDR @biorxiv_micrbio congratulations Timothy and co-authors, cool structure and nice to see how much, despite limited to no sequence similarity, this structure looks like the mycobacterial T7SS substrate complexes, T7SSa and T7SSb should be mechanistically similar!

I'm very excited to present the latest type VII secretion system research from the @JohnWhitneyIIDR which is out now at @biorxiv_micrbio. In this work, we look deeper into how toxins are recognized and secreted by this Gram +ve secretion system. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

The @JohnWhitneyIIDR lab, @McMasterIIDR and @BBS_McMasterU were all incredibly supportive of me during not only this study but my entire PhD and so I'd like to offer thanks to the entire community for supporting this work.

The study was a major team effort that required several talented young scientists to finish. In particular, @s_prakhar0 started working on this project with me as an undergraduate researcher and really pushed it forward when I left the lab.
