🟠🚜 PITCH WORK PROGRESSION 🚜⚫️ After a visit to site today works have progressed very quickly and we have seen the removal of our dugouts along with a fully stripped field. CLS the contractor for the new pitch began works yesterday on the topsoil strip and created topsoil bunds around the perimeter of the field. The next stage of works taking place this week will be the cut and fill element in preparation for the drainage which will be installed week commencing 6/5. 🗓️🗓️ An update for the local residents and wider community, the timeline of the project is 6 weeks as of yesterday so we will be looking at a completion date sometime in the middle of June which is highly dependent on the weather staying dry. If anyone has any queries or concerns please message the club directly and we will try our best to assist with them. We appreciate in some instances it’s not ideal for the local residents adjacent to the pitch but ask to please bear with us whilst we deliver this fantastic project which isn’t just an investment for the football club but for the wider community, the grass pitch facility we will have in Meliden will be one of the best in the country bringing huge benefits to the younger generation and helping us reach our club goals with the introduction of a junior setup and also a women’s team! 👏🏼👏🏼 Big thanks as always goes to all those involved in bringing this project to fruition @CymruFdn @GwyntYMorCF @sportwales @Allan_James6 North Hoyle Offshore Wind Farm 🟠 Up the Miners ⚫️
🚜⚽️ PITCH WORK UPDATE 🚜⚽️ Today CLS our contractor for the new pitch returned to site to continue the works of a brand new drainage system and new grass surface. Todays progress included a power harrow to the grounds and the fencing has been erected around the perimeter with excavation works commencing early next week! The start date of the project was unfortunately pushed back due to the classic welsh weather but now sunnier days are here we can push on to bring this brilliant project to fruition and see a state of the art pitch down at the mine for years to come! A big thanks as always goes to all the funders who made this possible for us @CymruFdn @GwyntYMorCF @sportwales and North Hoyley windfarm fund! We will be able to update local residents and the larger community next week regarding a timeline of the project and a completion date!! ⚫️🟠 Up the Miners 🟠⚫️
🟠🚧 PITCH WORKS 🚧⚫️ The spectator barriers and goalposts have now been taken out and stored in preparation for the drainage works to commence in the coming weeks 👏🏼👏🏼 Even the smallest of progress is filling the club with great excitement of what’s to come, we are still truly grateful to @CymruFdn for changing our club for the better!!
