@Sephirothite In Japan, she isn't nearly as hated, either. I know people constantly point at her 'sorry-ness' but that is part of Japanese culture as well. And frankly... she has a lot of reasons to be so apologetic. I've always seen her as a victim of Stock Holmes Syndrome, personally.

Lucrecia was literally a sympathetic character in the OG too. That was even clear in the old supplemental materials. Dirge did not try to make her into a victim, she always was a victim of Shinra ultimately. She made a bad decision but Shinra stole her child in the end.
