@GolfChannel Absolutely 100% correct. Golf supposed to be a game of etiquette and manners, not drunken frat party time. And rather obviously the @USGA has no intention of controlling out of control patrons. The Masters has no such issue.

Try growing a pair @eamonlynch - are there ANY men left in sports broadcasting? Guess what, pansy - fans make noises, sometimes unpleasant ones. This guy would be clutching his pearls if he went to a baseball game in Philly, Boston, or the Bronx. Everyone wants to legislate behavior in public spaces - but the best way to change the behavior of others is to manage your own, which is precisely what Clark did yesterday. It's what pros do.

You don’t fix a mob with a stern PA announcement. You fix it one ejection at a time. Pull the wristband, kill the credential, walk him out, and do it on camera so the next guy sober enough to film it gets the message. The 2033 PGA Championship is booked for Bethpage Black. Earn it back. Adopt the Augusta model. TheGolf Bros aren’t fans, they’re a liability the sport keeps subsidizing. Start throwing them out, one tournament at a time, until the fans remember this is golf, not White Garbage Night at your local bar!

We don’t know what they did or didn’t do because we didn’t have social media then and the actual media was subservient as well, but you know what also didn’t happen then, fans acting like complete assholes during tournament play. Regardless, he did something dumb, he owned up to it and paid for the damage both by reputation and monetarily. His story is one of massive failure and redemption and it really doesn’t get better than that! Now, the vast majority of the people that deride him (the Golf Bros) idolize Bryson, DJ and the rest of the @livgolf_league clown brigade who took literal blood money but they’re but-hurt that a locker door got banged up! GTFOH!
