@CraigHouston_ @ReformUKScot He’s not gay… yet. Just give him a little more time. Between the full blown prancing in those TikTok videos and this picture serving as his coming out ceremony, we’re basically watching the countdown clock tick down in real time. 😅

@TAL179818671981 We defeated fascism to keep our sovereignty, not to surrender our borders to dinghy arrivals. Thanks for your concern.

I believe the real reach on X is far greater than just the 128,000 or so Premium subscribers. You can easily multiply that figure by 6 or 7 times or even more. Not everyone has an X account, and many can’t or won’t afford a Premium membership, but they still encounter the content through others. Ideas and support spread rapidly via word of mouth, both online and offline. This broader audience can translate into real momentum behind Rupert Lowe and Restore Britain when it comes to the ballot box. 🗳️

Tragic news from Peterborough A 16-year-old boy has died after being stabbed in Riseholme near Ortongate Shopping Centre last night. Four teenagers have now been arrested a 15 year old boy and 18 year old man on suspicion of murder, plus two girls aged 16 and 17 for assisting an offender. Police say the attack was targeted. St John’s Church School has closed today due to the incident. Thoughts are with the family! #Peterborough #Stabbing #Riseholme #TeenagerKilled #CambridgeshirePolice #UkNews

@Keir_Starmer France has admitted they’re not going to stop the migrant boats, but you’re still acting like their biggest supporter. You’re the worst Prime Minister Britain has ever had , FACTS.

The ongoing closure of the Strait of Hormuz is deeply damaging. Getting global shipping moving is vital to ease cost of living pressures. The UK has convened more than 40 nations who share our aim to restore freedom of navigation. This week the UK and France will co-host a summit to advance work on a coordinated, independent, multinational plan to safeguard international shipping when the conflict ends.

The US military has destroyed two suspected drug-smuggling boats in the eastern Pacific, killing five people and leaving one survivor. The strikes are part of the Trump administration’s campaign against alleged “narcoterrorists” in Latin America, bring the total killed in such operations to at least 168 since early September. #USMilitary #DrugTrafficking #TrumpAdministration #Narcoterrorists

Thanks for sharing this ……I can see how passionate you are about these safeguarding issues, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into it. Social media does give a voice to things that sometimes feel hidden, and you’re right that serious failures shouldn’t be swept under the carpet at any cost.

Which is why Social Media is so powerful + effective Hurty Words don't apply when we identify serious Safeguarding failures Gagging Orders can NOT be used to cover up crimes or where a statutory legal duty exists Crimes of Perjury, attempts to pervert the course of justice, fraud by false representation, gross misconduct in public office Statutory legal duty under s10, s11 + s18 of the Children's Act S10 + s11 puts a statutory legal duty on LAs to collaborate with other agencies + professionals + carry out thorough assessments of the Child's needs AND to ensure these needs are met by the LA. This is where they fail, by refusing to record needs they are suggesting the needs do not exist, by failing to collaborate with other agencies + professionals they limit the potential risk of being challenged or anyone claiming the needs exists Under s18 Children's Act Director of Children's Services is accountable with LAs holding vicarious liability for the failures Local Authorities (LAs / councils) in England + Wales are "creatures of statute," meaning they only have the legal authority to act if a power or duty is conferred upon them by an Act of Parliament. Several key pieces of legislation place statutory legal duties on LAs + elected cllrs regarding the function of the Council Local Government Act 1972: The foundational legislation that establishes the structure of LAs (counties, districts, parishes) vests them with functions Section 151: Imposes a statutory duty to appoint a Responsible Financial Officer (RFO) to manage the council's financial affairs Section 111: Empowers (+ implies duties to maintain) the authority to do anything incidental to the discharge of its functions Local Government Act 2000: Introduced modern executive governance arrangements (Leader/Mayor + Cabinet) shifted the focus of councils towards promoting the economic, social + environmental well-being of their areas. Localism Act 2011: Section 1: Introduces the "General Power of Competence" allowing councils to act in the best interests of their community, provided they do not break other laws Section 27: Imposes a statutory duty on LAs to adopt a Code of Conduct for members + to promote high standards of conduct Local Government Act 1999 (Best Value Duty): Requires LAs to make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the way they exercise their functions, having regard to a combination of economy, efficiency, + effectiveness Equality Act 2010: Places a Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) on LAs to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity + foster good relations in their decision-making + service delivery Care Act 2014: Imposes significant statutory duties regarding adult social care, assessment of needs + safeguarding Legislation Placing Duties on Elected Councillors Local Government Act 1972 (Section 83): Imposes a duty on cllrs to sign a declaration of acceptance of office before they can act Local Government Act 1972 (Section 94): Imposes a duty on cllrs to declare a pecuniary interest in any matter being discussed Localism Act 2011: Requires cllrs to abide by the adopted Code of Conduct, which must reflect Nolan Principles (selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty, leadership). Other Duties: Depending on their role, cllrs may have duties as "Corporate Parents" for children in care + must comply with planning + licensing law when sitting on regulatory committees 3. Regulations Defining Council Functions The Local Authorities (Functions and Responsibilities) (England) Regulations 2000: These regulations strictly delineate which functions are "executive" (Cabinet/Leader) + which are "non-executive" (reserved for Full Council, such as setting the budget + policy framework) While councils have over 800 functions, these acts create the fundamental framework of mandatory obligations. Discretionary powers are often used for local improvements, but statutory duties must be met first.

Sir Adrian Fulford releases Phase One of the Southport Inquiry at midday. It exposes policing, justice system & agency failures in the killer’s care, education & mental health. At least 6 public bodies face criticism. “None of the most powerful adjectives suffice”he said. This must drive real change not cover ups to protect the vulnerable from extreme violence. Families….Please respect their plea do not share the killer’s distressing mugshot. #SouthportInquiry #JusticeForSouthport #NeverAgain #Uk #Britain

Couldn’t agree more. The audit was a real missed chance to finally expose the deep failures across children’s services, hold directors properly accountable, and tackle the coverups that keep harming vulnerable kids. Children deserve far better than this endless cycle of reports with no real consequences.

In her recommendations following the audit of Grooming Gangs Baroness Casey had recommended addressing the systemic multi agency Safeguarding failures that have become so prevalent in today's society It would have raised awareness about and joined the dots of the failures within Children's Services, Policing, Family Courts, Cafcass, Sara Sharif, Harvey Willgoose, the Nottingham killings, Grooming Gangs, Child Sexual Abuse Both the government led Inquiry and Rupert Lowes Inquiry FAILED to address this It would have addressed the more important issues where the Children's Act s10, s11 and s18 are not being addressed It would have highlighted the failures of Directors of Children's Services and their statutory legal duty for Safeguarding It would have addressed the lack of accountability within Local Authority Children's Services It would have addressed the prolific corruption, collusion, cover ups and criminality within public sector services It would have served as an opportunity to remind us of Lord Lamings important work to review Safeguarding and changes made to the Children's Act It would have put children first instead of protecting public services who are no longer fit for purpose It would have addressed the issues around preventable deaths This is not just a missed opportunity its enabling the cover ups and corruption within public services to continue What a great shame for the children within our society when those who fail in their statutory legal duty get a free pass and the needs of the Children are once again ignored
