Many players are overly confident now because they have access to a solver or they listen to a great coach. This is like thinking you're a genius because you bought the right book. The hard part is not acquiring the right knowledge. The hardest part of this game is the execution. Adjusting for your specific opponent is an endless puzzle that can never be fully solved. You can only get closer through purposeful practice and years of focus.

The problem is that if we back him in the summer, he'll be managing one game a week next season and I'm sure we will be great again and probably sneak into the top 5. Then this will happen again the following season because he's got no plan B and we will be in an endless cycle
