Myers-Briggs and the Jungian cognitive functions do not define one's capacity (and desire) for kindness, good will, loyalty, forgiveness, etc. Neither does introversion or extraversion. If they did, some of us might as well embrace our inner villain.

The show The Copenhagen Test has some pretty good examples of Ti vs Te. It's also a 6's worst nightmare.

Some days I think I'm on the verge of a brilliant breakthrough, while other days I think I'm a complete idiot.

Sometimes when people mention something I said or thought even just a few months back, I want to be like "Yeah, that was two-months-ago me. Current me is much more highly evolved and disagrees adamantly with my former self."

Just witnessed a woman aggressively flip off a driver who I guess cut her off. The driver didn’t even see her do it (clearly, cause he took off), but even if he did…is it my Aquarius Moon that just sees such things as pointless? I woulda just rolled my eyes, and moved on.

@Deezy2_Blessed I agree with the first half, but releasing anger makes me feel better so purpose found lol.

@Deezy2_Blessed Lol. I agree that it's "pointless" but some people need to release the anger somehow.

@SusanStorm984 The ETJs do it too in my experience. It's just a high Te thing.

@TypingPractical Yeah, I definitely think IxTJs having Te in the "parent" role means that they/we jump into fix it mode so quickly, sometimes without stopping to think whether the other person just wants to be heard or get emotional support.

There's something I've been trying to explain, but often struggle to explain adequately. Te/Fi types might seem distant, cold, insensitive to Fe/Ti types, even when they are trying to do their best to seem caring. This is especially true for IxTJs. We tend to take all our caring

I've been in kind of a slump for the past two years, but 2026 is looking like it might be the year that I finally pull out of it.

I hate journalling. The few times I've tried always fail miserably because if I write anything beyond detached observation that makes my "historical record" more personal, I shortly thereafter want to burn it all.

@SusanStorm984 From what I've seen, TJs have a default "fix it" instinct, which matches what you're saying. I'm married to an ISTJ. To be fair, we both suck at emotional expression, but I'm not that quick to go into a "fix it" mode for other people.

When you wake up at 4am with a head full of thoughts, mentally writing the next section of an article you've been working on. And you can't silence it all and go back to sleep until you dump it all into a note on your phone.
