@ChrisMartin1961 I'm a bit younger, but they blame us for not minding the store and using the company credit card to rack up hundreds of trillions of dollars in debt that they (and a lot of other generations) will have to pay back. Their lifestyles will be reduced bc of it - they're not wrong.

I’m seeing, yet again, this surge of hatred for the Boomer generation. I’m a late season Boomer, born in 1961; I’ve worked for nearly 50 years, have been in the same profession for 37 years, I’ve routinely worked 45-60 hours a week. I don’t get why we are so vilified.

@Mr_Husky1 You should leave him now as he doesn't love you. I could tell you never to put the money in joint names and to get a pre-nup (depending upon your finances), but his threat to not go through with the marriage has made this simple - my first sentence applies.

I’m about to get married, and my fiancé knows I have an inheritance that was left to me by my grandparents. It’s in my name only, and I’ve been saving it for years. Now he’s saying that before we get married, I should put the entire inheritance into a joint account so we can “start fresh together,” or he doesn’t think we should go through with the wedding. I’m 36 already and this is something my family worked hard to leave me. I’m torn between wanting to build a life together and feeling like I’m being pressured to give up something important to me. What do you think I should do? By isitmeaitah

What i saw yesterday was 2 CB’s for Forest literally defending every attack we had with fight, passion and grit every single time. Brilliant performance which is needed in a dogfight. Pales in comparison to our pair VDV and Romero who i can’t wait to see the back of.

@OunkaOnX He's right - we let Israel push off their most welfare dependent groups on the US and we pay for those groups to have large families, change demographics and advocate for theocracy and they have no sense of civic duty to the US. Same with the Muslims.

The left will attempt to maintain power by endlessly importing immigrant voters. Eventually, foreigners will have enough numbers to gain power themselves. Then, they’ll brutally dismantle those traitor leftist institutions & install their own systems. Then, they’ll destroy us.

One of my contrarian takes: Society peaked in the 80s, and it’s been in slow decline ever since. It was the last era of widespread optimism. You can feel it in the music and movies. “Excess meets innocence.” The 80s also mark the end of the analog world—local economies, in-person everything, and a certain forced simplicity. Malls, movie theaters, magazines, and BMX. Then, beginning in the 90s, came the tidal wave of tech: Mobile phones The internet Social media AI All incredible innovations, with lots of positives. But on the whole I think they’re *net negatives* for society. We replaced a finite, real-world experience with an infinite, digital one. Infinite information. Infinite comparison. Infinite distraction. Human’s aren’t wired for that, and you can see the consequences all around us.

Just to counter the misinformation from the usual suspects. Hatzolah ambulances provide emergency medical response to anyone in need, regardless of religion, race, or background. Not just for Jewish people. They fund it themselves, not the government.

Not about "fight." 🤦‍♂️ There was plenty of it vs Forest. Plenty of spirit, pluck, possession, passion, etc -- especially in the 1st half. What there wasn't enough of, was quality. Absolutely horrendous lack of creativity and end product, which ultimately will send us down.
Henry Winter@henrywinter

Tottenham Hotspur are going down unless they show some fight. Spurs fans played their part backing the team, giving the squad that powerful greet before the Forest game. A few players like Archie Gray play their part, fighting for the cause, a 20-year-old showing more commitment than some senior players. It’s not about ability or reputation now, it’s concentration and commitment. It's about fight. Forest showed it. Morgan Gibbs-White, a player Spurs were desperate to bring in for his character as well as playing calibre, highlighted what Spurs miss. “They have got that incredible talent but we showed that fight, hunger and desire more than them,” Gibbs-White told Match of the Day. That fight, hunger and desire to stay with a runner, to block a cross, to compete for a cross, for a ball, for a loose ball, to rage against the dying of the Premier League light. Djed Spence, Mathys Tel and Kevin Danso switched off for the Forest goals. Others culpable, too. Blame also lies with the recruitment for bringing in some individuals who have the flair but not the fight. It’s not new, it even pre-dates Antonio Conte’s lambasting of players and the club culture. It’s a lack of leadership. It’s an issue of mismanagement from on high, as much as poor management from the dugout. Igor Tudor is out of his depth, clearly, but he’s only part of the problem. The whole club needs a reset. A proper, independent all-areas review of the club should come in the summer. For now, it's about players waking up from this sleepwalk towards the Championship. It’ll be one of the biggest stories in the 34 years of the Premier League if Tottenham go down with their history, stadium, fanbase. Spurs were one of the “big five” clubs whose chairmen drove the original breakaway from the Football League in 1992. Damaging financially, £150m minimum. Damaging for recruitment – of players and coaches. Would Mauricio Pochettino return if Spurs were in the Championship, a world away from the Premier League, let alone Champions League? It would trigger an exodus/sale of players. The only ones who can stop the drop will not suffer long-term - beyond having the stain of relegation on their playing records. Spurs are currently 17th on 30 points, without a PL win since Dec 28. They probably need a minimum of eight points from Sunderland away, Brighton home, Wolves away, Villa away, Leeds home, Chelsea away and Everton home. Eight points from seven games. Sounds doable. But do they have the fight, hunger and desire? #THFC

No Jew in the UK has set fire to anything belonging to a Muslim person. No Jew has stabbed a Muslim person in the street. Yet Jews are murdered, their ambulances burning and there are marches against Jews regularly which the government do nothing about. There are actual Jew Hunts under cover of banning Israeli hummus. There are exhibitions showing Jews eating babies. There is at the same time terrifying “guidance” from government to make citizens stop criticising Islam in any way. It’s twisted. Evil.

@Ramon_Vega71 Surprised how bad the subs were - Udogie brought in to get a little more forward and had no taste for it. I was not on the keep Tudor bandwagon after the last two games - I do not think he's that good a coach. That said, no fight at all from the players in the second half.
