We honor the memory of our colleague, USFWS employee Richard Guadagno, who was on board Flight 93 when the hijacked plane crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, on September 11, 2001. We also remember the innocent lives lost in the terrorist attacks that day.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in South TX, together with Friends of the Wildlife Corridor and @American Forests, has Rewilded 18,617 acres of forests on Refuge lands, reversing the loss of 93% of primary forests, and benefitting some of 530 bird species including the Green Jay.
