New stats today show that 2.8m working-age adults now say they can’t work or look for work because of long-term sickness. That’s the highest since Labour came in to Government, and up 700,000 since the pandemic began. Over 6.5 million working age adults are now claiming benefits instead of working, and figures show 5,000 new people are being signed off work sick every working day. This is not only a national tragedy, but an economic time bomb. Only @Conservatives have the backbone to tackle it. We cannot afford to pay these people to sit at home, if we want to end our over-reliance on immigration. Every British citizen who can work, must work. Yet every other political party, including Labour, Reform, Lib Dems, and the Greens, want to increase welfare spending. That is totally irresponsible and deeply damaging to our economy. That’s why the Conservatives announced our plan to reform welfare so that support only goes to those that really need it. It’ll save us £23bn. That money that can go to paying down the deficit so we live within our means and help us get our economy motoring. We’re the only ones taking this seriously.

Went to a gig in Liverpool on Saturday, absolutely wonderful,hurt my leg walking home,still sore,paid for my own ticket,wasn't given a free ticket,I am not an MP with power and influence.
