Adam Wharton is the exact profile of midfielder we need @ManUtd. I just hope the recruitment team are sensible enough to recognize that. He’s very calm and is able to help us dictate games. So I would go for Wharton and Fernandez/Scott this summer.

@dezizuoo Unfortunately I don’t think Matheus Fernandez can control the game as much as Anderson. We need someone who will help us dominate other teams’ midfields. Having said that, if Anderson doesn’t want to join us, then we move on immediately.

All that being said: Fernandes & Scott are fantastic Premier League proven talents with the potential to hit the highest of heights. I’d still be VERY happy with that.

Man Utd were keen on Anderson but on basis they only want to sign players who are keen to join and have no wish to get into bidding war, they are not pursuing any further as it stands.
