🚨 With United's options for a defensive midfielder shrinking, I think it has to be Kone. I really like Tchouaméni, but watching France with Manu Koné has made one thing clear to me. The difference is bigger than I expected. You still get the same defensive presence, but the ball just moves so much quicker with Koné in the team. He sees things earlier, releases the ball faster, and keeps the game flowing. France look more fluid in possession, their build-up is cleaner, and their attacks seem to gather momentum much faster. Tchouaméni is an excellent midfielder, but Koné's speed of thought and speed of play give France a different dynamic.
