@RuneScape I love the new art direction in the starter areas. I noticed today by the memorial of guthix there’s some new trees with a lower standard. My issue is art-direction cohesion. These newer trees feel structurally weaker than the more cohesive style seen in other updated areas like Draynor, Lumbridge, and Varrock. What looks off to me is: •foliage sprayed in many directions instead of forming readable canopy masses •weak sense of gravity and branch weight •flatter trunk/root treatment •overall silhouette feeling noisier and less intentional I am not asking for every tree to look the same, and I am not asking for realism. I am asking for consistency in shape language and overall environment art quality. I’ve generated an example of what might look better. At the very least I hope you reconsider this haphazard randomised leaf direction in the future. Kind regards a hopeful Vathreon.

The trees near the Memorial to Guthix had their textures updated AND are now choppable.

@steipete @davemorin In Australia you don't tell people how they can and cannot use what they pay for. Include the amount of usage you are comfortable with people using however they want and dont get pissy when they actually use it.

woke up and my mentions are full of these Both me and @davemorin tried to talk sense into Anthropic, best we managed was delaying this for a week. Funny how timings match up, first they copy some popular features into their closed harness, then they lock out open source.

@sama Can’t wait to have cancer no longer be something that kills people. This proves that it’s possible. Now we need customised mRNA vaccines for every cancer patient. Obviously the scope of that is massive but imagine being the person who gets it done?

The coolest meeting I had this week with was Paul, who used ChatGPT and other LLMs to create an mRNA vaccine protocol to save his dog Rosie. It is amazing story. "The chat bots empowered me as an individual to act with the power of a research institute - planning, education, troubleshooting, compliance, and yes, real scientific design work in converting genomic data to a vaccine prescription and designing the treatment protocol around it. But they worked alongside humans at every step. The combination is what made it possible." It immediately got me thinking "this should be a company". Also, Paul is an extraordinary guy. This should be easy to do, but it is not yet.
