@prfctsnst @TheNCSmaster You’re honestly probably right. Maybe it’s just copium but it still feels like this story isn’t over. Plus I think the prophecy has yet to happen. I really think this whole thing was centered around Pochita. Now that he’s been reset it’ll now happen. Or maybe not

@Verdeglenbro @TheNCSmaster i agree that seemed like a likely outcome during the end of part 1 and early into part 2 but after seeing the direction the story took it's fair denji receives a semi-tragic ending. he wouldn't turn off the power/fame machine. pochita had to sacrifice the narrative to save him.

Is it strange to say this series ended so abruptly and out of the blue it doesn’t feel like it’s fully registered to a lot of people that Chainsaw Man is over? It’s like Fujimoto went “OhByTheWayThat’sTheEndBYE!”

I agree that it was bringing destruction to his life but the way any character arc would work is for him to realize he doesn’t need to be Cahinsaw Man. I’ve always thought that this series will end with Denji having to take down Pochita or let him go. Because that’s truly the only for this story to end. Plus Pochita eating himself didn’t really get rid of him, it only reset him

@Verdeglenbro @TheNCSmaster Part 2's primary motif of Denji desiring the fame and power of Chainsaw Man while the act of being Chainsaw Man brings destruction to his life and loved ones reflects how the author feels about being the acclaimed writer of his own story he had to stop being the Chainsaw Man Man

I believe there will be a part 3 to Chainsaw Man. Maybe some copium is talking here but the main reason I think it’ll continue is because Denji’s character arc is not complete. I also think that the doomsday prediction in the story wasn’t about the death devil, it was about Pochita.
