Rails just landed 11 CVEs, similarly our monthly release at @discourse landed 33 CVEs. This is not that software suddenly got sloppy, the AI based scanning using 5.4 xhigh and Opus max is finding dormant issues. NEWS: Tesla is Robotaxi service testing in Orlando, Florida. Multiple new Model Ys with rear camera washers and Texas manufacturer license plates have been spotted at the Tesla Lee Vista Blvd store in Orlando. Only the Model Y Robotaxis in Austin have had rear camera washers. Tesla said on its Q4 earnings call that Orlando was one of the 7 planned metro areas that would see robotaxi coverage in the first half of 2026. Thx for sending me the pics @lucretiupop!

Scientists just copied a Fruit Fly's biological brain and trapped it inside of a computer. Not an AI model trained to act like a fly... A total digital copy of a fly !! This is some sick sci-fi stuff: - They scanned and copied the brain, neuron by neuron, synapse by synapse, from electron microscopy data. - Then dropped that brain into a simulated body in a video game like environment. The fly walked. It groomed. It fed. Nobody taught it anything. The behavior was already in the wiring. The entire premise of modern AI is that intelligence is something you train into a system. This is proof it's something you can transfer out of one. Wild times

Can somebody tell me why this critical interface has unreadably tiny font size and needless space between? Are there any members of the UI team that are over 40? (Note that the screen is too far for reading glasses and too near for distance glasses). Can we get a font size option for all displayed fonts?

Completed my 60th lap around the sun today. A lot of men in my family died in their 60s. I’m going for 70+. I had another very good day today. Quality time with my wife. Good progress building my app. Dinner with good friends. Birthday wishes from many friends. Life is wonderful. Make sure you’re living it to its fullest.

An AWS region isn't a single building full of a million servers. Rather: 3+ availability zones, distinct failure characteristics, and many buildings with high-speed interconnects. AWS may cost an arm and a leg, but ygwypf.

This is an AI mockup of something I actually need. One braided extension with AC power + Ethernet in the same cable. USB-C would be a bonus. I want to move my laptop between the kitchen, living room, and desk without running three separate cords for the dog to clothesline himself on. Does this exist? Anyone have a link? I know their are some production audio cords but I don’t want a million adapters. I want a normal AC and normal Ethernet plugs. And yes I know power next to data isn’t ideal. But shielding isn’t 1998 anymore.
