I have cleared the 𝗖𝗞𝗦 (𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁) exam. ✅
The fun part: my PSI browser disconnected right in the middle of it.
Network issue detected, reconnected — no extra time granted. Finished the exam anyway.
Turns out the hardest part of the CKS isn't Network Policies or Seccomp profiles. It's staying composed when your exam environment decides to go rogue.
Two hours. One disconnection. Zero excuses.

The difference is encryption in flight and encryption at rest.
HTTPS is only used in flight, the data gets decrypted once it gets to either end.
The data can then be further encrypted at rest if setup.

I have to admit, it’s actually really nice having state, secure variables, and remote execution all managed in one clean space.
It takes the pressure off local credentials and makes the whole CI/CD workflow feel a lot smoother.
