AI observability can cost more than it should. We ran the numbers: same scale, same workload, four tools. At moderate production load, Logfire is up to 40x less expensive than the alternatives. Spans-based pricing. No proprietary units. AI native and full-stack observability in one platform. See the full comparison: pydantic.dev/articles/ai-ob…

You've written the file tool before. And the memory layer. And that guardrail, twice. None of it is your product. All of it stands between your agent and production. Pydantic AI Harness makes Capabilities a standard library. Harness Week starts today with @VstormCommunity pydantic.dev/articles/harne…

I'm done with power model users. I want to meet power-observability users I'm using 10% of what Logfire can give me. I want to meat folks squeezing this tool @pydantic

@pydantic is unique here. Major startups prioritize office environments, particularly in San Francisco, New York, and parts of Scandinavia. relentlessly contruibuiting to the hyper-elite reputation that the tech industry has. My respect to Pydantic for giving a genuine global opportunity.

Profoundly wrong! @pydantic has been remote since day one, and we're absolutely humming. We think it's a strength, not a weakness for many reasons: * Better people to hire - we recruit from one hemisphere, not one city * We save the equivalent of 20 days a year by not requiring our team to commute * Lower salaries for the same standards of living for the team * Less poaching since most people share @signull's delusion * Finally, AI is making the difference bigger, the recording and transcript are important artifacts of meetings, so video calls are better than in person meetings

remote simply does not work for early stage startups.

Your summarizer prompt returns a subtly wrong answer on 1 in 20 legal docs. It has for three months because nothing throws, and nobody noticed. Pydantic Logfire's optimizer reads your production traces, proposes one prompt edit, and quotes the runs that justify it. Accept, canary, move a label. No deploy. pydantic.io/L3MZC

We merge hundreds of PRs a month. You don't get to be perfect at that speed. 12 times in five weeks, code passed CI, deployed clean, and didn't do what we intended in prod. Our agents caught every one from live traces, via the @pydantic Logfire MCP. pydantic.io/Ku5PN
Pydantic@pydantic

Part of @AutonomyAI_io's backlog is filed by agents reading production telemetry through the Pydantic Logfire MCP server. AutonomyAI builds an agentic operating system that lets PMs and designers ship merge-ready code into existing codebases, and its production traces land in Logfire. In five weeks, their R&D agents caught 12 changes that passed CI, merged clean, and never fired. Read the case study: pydantic.io/PVY3K

Question for @pydantic_ai; docs say on-demand capabilities' cache-stable load_capability reveal only works via native tool search on Anthropic/OpenAI. Gemini isn't listed. Confirmed no native surface? and is there a workaround recommended?

Your refund agent said yes. The customer didn't qualify. Your LLM judge scored the run "helpful and polite". And wrong. The judge can't tell you it was wrong. Your support lead can. Annotations in Pydantic Logfire, at $0.00 per 1,000 scores. pydantic.io/9F7gG

Same debugging task with MCP: - Pydantic Logfire: 2 tool calls - LangSmith from @LangChain: 109 tool calls Turns out, not all MCPs were created equal. Logfire let's the model write SQL, the alternative is paging through a restrictive rest API - 50x speedup. pydantic.io/jcfvZ

Pydantic Logfire is now available on @stripe Projects. 🚀 Now you can provision Logfire from the command line when you set up a project, in your own account, with credentials written into your environment. When shipping AI features, observability is how you find out whether they work, which is why it should be there from the first run. Learn more: pydantic.io/GZZJo

Two ways to build a sandboxing solution: 💩 Pretend we built our own sandboxing infra, cosplay our customers about which provider we're actually using under the hood 🚀 Be open about what infra the code is running on, build a novel interface to make running Python code in a sandbox extremely easy We chose the second option. Please get in touch if you want to try it.
Pydantic@pydantic

We're building a unified interface to sandoxing platforms in Logfire, even better - it's powered by monty's wire protocol so you can useful and safe things easily. But we need design partners, please get in touch if you want to join the closed beta! 𝚊𝚜𝚢𝚗𝚌 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑 𝚕𝚘𝚐𝚏𝚒𝚛𝚎.𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚋𝚘𝚡(...) 𝚊𝚜 𝚛𝚎𝚙𝚕: 𝚊𝚠𝚊𝚒𝚝 𝚛𝚎𝚙𝚕.𝚏𝚎𝚎𝚍_𝚛𝚞𝚗('𝚙𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚝("𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙵𝚞𝚕𝚕 𝙼𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚢")') pydantic.dev/articles/logfi…
