People are talking about this picture. I moved to Hebron from Gaza in 2021. First the soldiers I have encountered were older people, mellower. They used to talk to us at the checkpoints, joked sometimes. Gradually, the type of soldiers manning the checkpoints has changed. Now most of the soldiers look like the one in the picture. Religious, violent, hot tempered, with unexplained hate in their eyes. I do not know the story behind this specific picture, but it represents what is going on in the West Bank now. ๐Ÿ˜ž
