one of those things that should be common sense but isn’t. I’m told all the time how to run my company. By VCs that have never built one, by dudes that work in big tech, there is no shortage of terrible advice out there and it’s a constant reminder that there is one opinion that matters the most: mine. TLDR; never stop being scrappy. you don’t need a big team to build a big company. there are only a few things that actually matter and will impact your business. don’t spend money on stupid shit. don’t keep a role if you don’t need it. high performers only.
