@Munalozy @Shuuugagirl The baby might just be hungry. Or feeling really hurt. I have seen them pierce babies ears a few times. After the piercing they get fed. And just sleep.

Can they not allow the baby to grow before piercing her ear? Must it be immediately after birth? I think this is wrong. Looks painful. 😥

This is why you buy stocks and keep selling it. Missing out on long term compounding. - You think you are smarter than the market - You are thinking of the short term returns - You are putting too much pressure on your passive investment. You want it to turn over quickly Let’s show you another way where you and other dedicated investors play long term Pls join us to learn bit.ly/41CVb4Z

@Kingchuksnurse @MudiTheInvestor @TNIPodcaster In the context of investing in what I didn’t know. I don’t do research or anything. It was a gamble. It just that it paid off. It could have been a bad company and all the money will just wipe.

Let’s be real for a second… What’s that one stock in your portfolio that’s pure gamble? 😅 High risk. High reward. Drop just one. Mine: Lasaco

Me too!!!. There is so much uncertainty to just lock my money away anywhere. Except from maybe ensuring people don’t end up withdrawing all their savings and end up with none. I don’t really see any perk in it. If I want to leave my money for a year or so to address a goal I rather use (liquid) fixed income mutual funds. If there is no plan for the money it’s going to investments to help me retire sooner.

Anything that will warrant me to lock my money away or pay a certain penalty to make withdrawal for my money is a NO for , I may change this view in the future but right now.. It’s a NO. I want my money accessible and I’m disciplined enough to not spend what I don’t want to spend.
Mazi Nathan@rukky_nate

The biggest financial mistake I made this month was locking away a certain amount of money on Piggyvest. I didn’t take the upfront interest. I chose interest at maturity. For someone who prioritize investments, this was a terrible financial mistake. Don’t be like me. 🫩

Ladies and gentlemen, I am glad to announce another major milestone has been attained in my investment journey. My US portfolio has crossed the 7 figures mark (in naira). I began my journey in November when I turned legal and I thank God for the progress. The gains has been driven mostly by capital additions with limited upside as the US market hasn't been palatable these past few months, regardless I kept topping my positions. It has also made me discover my risk profile as I felt that urge to sell when I was just holding $AMZN, $TSLA and $GOOGL. I have added $VOO and Gold and tend to keep it this way, topping those 5 assets for a long while with the index ETF taking up 70%, individual stocks taking 15% and gold taking 15%. I would be back when it hits 8 figures and above. The aim eventually is for the portfolios (US and NGN) to reach the stage where the returns can fund my lifestyle. It is still day 1. I thank God for exposure to begin early. I thank him for blessing my ventures and for his grace.. And oh @investbamboo has been amazing in managing both portfolios. I don't think I would've been in this without fintechs like them. I don't like stress 😂.

Congratulations to me! I have hit a milestone in my investment journey. I have invested over 1million naira across the US and Nigerian markets at just 18. I have been highly reluctant to share this. But each time I see gamblers share their wins, I'm more convinced I should.

There are currently about 49,000 Halal fund unit holders in Nigeria as at April 2, 2026. Here’s a quick breakdown: Equity-Based Funds: 89,252 Money Market Funds: 712,567 Shari’ah-Compliant Funds: 48,617 Bonds/Fixed Income Funds: 65,048 The numbers change weekly… but one thing is clear: Very few investors are in the Halal space. And that says a lot. It means many Muslims are either: – Investing without clarity – Or avoiding investing altogether But now, you know better. Halal options do exist. And you have the opportunity to start building wealth in a way that aligns with your faith. Honestly, it would be powerful to see that number grow to 200,000+ before the end of the year. And it starts with more people getting the right knowledge. If you want a simple, practical guide to help you get started get my Halal investing ebook here for just 6,500 nestuge.com/halalinvesting P.S. You can verify these numbers here sec.gov.ng/for-operators/…

This number definitely needs to go up. As Muslims, we don’t have to choose between building wealth and staying true to our values. We can do both with the right knowledge and intention. It seems the real gap is awareness. A lot of people either don’t know halal options exist or assume investing isn’t for them. While it is. Even if you’re starting small, you’re still on the path. Barakah isn’t just in how much, but how. Insha’Allah we’ll see 200k+ soon 🤲🏽 One informed investor at a time 🥳

@abalu_uthman You might want to wait until the distribution is paid. Maybe Monday. There is usually a slight price pullback after distribution payments.

@AdunolaS @abalu_uthman @cowrywise Not really. I think lotus publish theirs on their instagram tho. Can’t remember if it’s before or after payments. But you can see previous ones there. I think for their FI it was 40 or 42 per unit. 1 unit is 1200 something
