@RinaAstera my friends and I basically made jonging the main destination of AX rather than the con itself, it was that good

Rest in Peace, Midnight Mahjong ): One of the coolest con experiences I still tell people about to this day. The chill vibes of a bunch of nerds just doing something silly were immaculate

despite everything that's wrong with anime expo, I actually enjoy it every year because I treat the con itself as a side quest to what a con is supposed to be about - meeting up with friends and having fun with what we're doing, whether it's the concert or jonging or cosplay

anime expo midnight mahjong is basically past step 4 at this point
