His book sales are artificially inflated making him look more legitimate on the presidential stage. So, it’s a win both ways for him and his PAC donors are out $1.5 million. It’s a tawdry and unethical way to sell books. Period. 2/3 of his total sales were from his PAC. Otherwise, his book bombed.
