Activists attempt to save Beagles. Animal rights activists broke into Ridglan Farms, a Beagle breeding facility near Madison, WI, on March 15, 2026. About 50-60 entered by cutting fences and forcing entry, removed 23 beagles (bred for biomedical research), and took them to safety. 27 activists were arrested for trespassing/burglary; most released pending charges. The farm plans to press charges and says the action was criminal.

The NFL is tampering with its most valuable asset — scarcity. We love football *because* it’s once or twice each week. It makes every game special. No one wants 7 games in 9 nights. Then it becomes just like every other sport.

Biggest complaint about solar farms is this. They are all destined to be super fund sites after a hail storm. No bare feet for 1000 years. Eroding all the topsoil in soybean production is probably more repairable than this.

@MeghanMcCain Public consumption of marijuana is illegal though. Rather than blame the entire plant, maybe enforce existing laws.

I never would have supported the legalization of marijuana had I known what would end up happening to young people and our cities. I deeply regret it. Every major city and uber in them just reeks of weeds everywhere. It is absolutely vile.

A 1,200 mile swatch of 3"+ rainfall and a 900 mile swath of 5"+ rainfall over the next 10 days from an ensemble mean forecast is not normal. Rainfall like this in early March will make any early planting plans impossible in the Eastern grain belt.

This is true, Biblically and otherwise. Works won't save us, but they WILL improve our daily lives.

Respectfully there is no more “work” to do. Jesus did it. I get staying connected to Jesus but having to work for it is a false gospel. It’s a terrible way of western Christianity trying to explain the work of Christ and our part in it. Our part in it is that we get to enjoy freedom

We went to church tonight rather than tomorrow and got a great word from Pastor Miller from 2 Peter Chapter 1. His point was we need to eat spiritually even more than physically. Peter said God has given us everything we need to live a godly life. If that’s true then why don’t we live godly? We don’t build on our foundation of faith. We need to stay connected to Jesus, stay in the Word and hear from Him daily. And then we have to apply what we hear. We have to do what God’s word tells us to do. That is the challenge I’m taking on—to let God’s word and God’s Spirit guide my thoughts and my actions.
