Why are autistic people "manipulative" for practicing social skills?
if we have to actively think about how our words and actions affect people, isn't that a good thing?
instead, we're shamed for it, called strange, told something's off in our faces and eyes
and our words and ideas constantly taken out of their literal contexts and twisted to mean something we never intended
