Having an EU passport is one of the biggest privileges there is. It is the only ticket that allows you to live across the greatest continent on earth. On TikTok, people are showing disbelief in how some Europeans take it for granted, and want to abolish it.

@chrisdguise For example, Poland is legally has to convert to euro but via ERM II, it’s delaying it and can delay indefinitely. Iceland can also have a pretty flexible(maybe practically indefinite) transition during negotiations. We need new wealthy members like it. Not bloody Montenegro.

This is not legally possible. Every new accession country HAVE TO adopt the whole EU law. A full permanent opt-out from core policies like the CFP is almost impossible. The best they can get is partial flexibility or long transition periods not a total exemption forever

The EU concept was sold to us as a way for Europeans to travel easier and work in every European country. Actually, it has been about importing millions of non-European settlers without any effective resistance and thereby finish off Europe. The EU is the most anti-European organisation on earth.
