KenGen has set up Stakeholder Coordination Committees (SCC) in Olkaria, Ngong, Western and Eastern Regions as a platform to grow together with local communities and address issues of mutual concern. #KenGenCares

Our team was recently in Seven Forks to deliver donations towards mitigating the impact of #COVID19. Every year, we set aside resources to cater for Corporate Social Responsibility projects in education,disaster management,conservation,water & sanitation among others.#KenGenCares

Since May 2020, KenGen has donated food and hygiene items worth more than Ksh 40 million to communities living in Nakuru, Mombasa Turkana, West Pokot, Tana River, Garissa, Kisumu and Migori among other areas. #KenGenCares

KenGen has also partnered w/ Ministry of Health in Embu & Egemeo Talanta Group to create awareness about Covid-19 by printing & distributing educational posters. It has also facilitated Ministry of Health in Machakos & Embu counties to fumigate KenGen premises & local markets.

The water was distributed in Mutuobare, Mbeere South Sub-County, Vondeni, Nunguni and Machanga in Masinga sub-County, and Makima in Mbeere South Sub-County. Food was donated to vulnerable communities living in Makima and Mavuria Wards in Mbeere South Sub-County. #KenGenCares

KenGen had previously provided communities living in the area with 52,000 litres of water, food and face masks as a way of supporting them in the fight against the novel coronavirus disease pandemic. #KenGenCares

KenGen donated 30 five thousand litre tanks to various shopping centres within 15 locations around Seven Forks Dams.The locations will also receive 40 litres of soap while critical areas such as dispensaries & police stations will benefit from 200 litres of sanitizer.#KenGenCares
