Let me be clear: from what I have heard, this woman is FAR above me. She has been described by some newspapers as the BEST academics in SA. I am NOT a professor, I am Dr Mamokgethi Phakeng. I hold no professorship with any university. I only have one PhD from Wits, the other two doctorates I have are only honorary. Of course I believe in publishing my academic work andI retired as a B1 rated scientist and that does not come close to what she has achieved. She also has more guts than I do because when I felt wronged I could not even stand up for myself in this manner. To liken me to her is to undermine her completely.

@KabeloMusic I’ve saying this. GenAI are there assists humans, there’s no way that AIs will replace human beings. They can try but the reality of human nature is above in any level of life.

I change my opinion when facts change. I was of the impression that AI music will take away the platform and bread that vocalists have worked so hard for, that view has since changed. AI does not stand a chance with the versatility in human talent vocally. Im a nerd when it comes to music, Ive closely practically unpacked, worked on and studied two of the best AI programs and so far my feeling towards its existence in competing with humans vocally might be something we will soon forget. Humans have been building for decades, this spike of AI music isn’t worthy of the rich history crafted by humans, there’s a lot of ground to cover from AI as things stand.
