I’m have no doubt that early Protestant founders held her in high regard– but some of their key disagreements were over Marian worship as a catholic core requirement.

He gave us the church, and he also gave us the scriptures as a check and balance against church doctrines which may become popular but contradicts scriptures or causes the scriptures to seem contradictary. There were 300 years of church doctrines established long before Rome began to add and discard bits and pieces in order to make the religion more appealing to worshipers of Isis, Artemis, Juno, Minerva, Venus, Diana, etc...

@_Stetsi @LibertyCipher @GodlyAction She isn’t dead as that Scripture is describing. She was assumed into Heaven by Jesus. She sits right beside Him and has His ear like queen mother would. If you don’t know this, that means you are separated from His Church. ❤️🙏

@LibertyCipher @littleflower673 @GodlyAction Correct. We are explicitly instructed in scripture NOT to commune with the dead. And when scripture does instruct us to intercede for one another, all the examples are LIVING people, praying to GOD for other LIVING people.

That said, she isn't omnipotent, and if you were somehow able to contact her, she would likely reprimand you just as what happened to King Saul in 1 Samuel 28, when he was unable to get guidance from God, Saul visited a medium in Endor and requested her to call up Samuel from the dead. The medium brought up an old man in a robe, whom Saul identified as Samuel, who was disturbed by this action and asked, "Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?". He then told Saul that he and his sons would die the next day. This is why ONLY Jesus is the mediator.

@davec_NH No. We don’t need to mandate military service to foster brave patriots. GET YOUR KIDS OFF THEIR PHONES. Bring back playground “matter-settling”. Give young people RESPONSIBILITY. Stop allowing woke civics to be taught. Travel the country and show them the beauty. Start there.

Military Service should be mandatory. What we are seeing now is a generation of cowards that never served, trying to change America that they ever defended.

Funny experiment. When Gen Z start telling Gen X that boomers pulled the ladder up behind them so they can't afford anything, ask how many of them are paying premium up upcharges on Uber Eats and 12.00 coffee instead of cooking stuff for themselves like we did.

@JamesSpillaneNH I usually appreciate your takes, but this one just ain’t it. It is undeniably true that boomers (as a collective) have screwed every generation to follow them. By every available metric, younger gens pay substantially more for the basics that boomers paid pennies for 40yra ago.

For people interested in moving to New Hampshire... the worst places to move are (in order): 1) Nashua 2) Franklin 3) Manchester 4) Keene Most of the rest of the state is pretty great! 👍🏻 Try to avoid those areas if you can. Some of the best places to live are: Hopkinton, Concord, Londonderry, Portsmouth/Rye area, or Hanover.
