@BridgetPhetasy Watched it live in the cafeteria at school everyone was traumatized. Around the dinner table that night I told my boomer parents and my dad said “Did you hear the last thing she said to her husband?” … “She said, you feed the dogs I’ll feed the fish.” Cornerstone moment. 😜

A conversation most aren’t ready to have… API based AI is orders of magnitude too slow to consistently capture an edge. HFT at the exchange is tick to trade in 5-100 nanoseconds. API based AI from your desktop is 5-10 seconds. That’s a lifetime in HFT terms.

The first company to make AI boxes, with specialised AI models trained to fit on that hardware will be the next Apple. Would you buy? Should I start a company doing this?

I’m very confused about the number of people who think “property tax” is taxes you pay for services you consume instead of a made up asset value the county used to collateralize a bond offering so they could hire 8,000 administrators for a school with a 40% literacy rate.
Rushi@rushicrypto

I’m very confused about the number of people who think “property tax” is a sales tax on you home rather than taxes to pay for public services you use every day. “I paid off my home why do i still pay property taxes?!?!?” Oh, did you also stop using the roads and libraries and sidewalks and parks? Not worried about fires anymore?

@traderhc @MasterPandaWu This isn’t my first day. It also would not be the first time I’ve seen the “mechanical buying” fail to materialize.

The $TLT chart tells the story. Bonds rallied hard this quarter while equities got smoked . that's the mechanical setup forcing pension rebalancing tomorrow. But here's what makes this quarter-end different from the usual rebalancing bid: Fear & Greed sitting at 8.7. That's not a typo . single digits. COT data shows specs extreme short S&P at -344k contracts, -18.3% of OI. Meanwhile $TLT catching a bid with 10Y at 4.35% and falling. Pensions don't care about sentiment. They're rules-based . if equities dropped from 60% to 55% of their allocation, they buy mechanically. But the fact that they're buying into a market where literally everyone else is positioned short or hiding in bonds.. That's the kind of forced flow that can squeeze faces off. The contrarian signal here is screaming. Smart money (commercial hedgers) vs specs this offsides, sentiment this washed out, and you've got mandatory institutional buying hitting tomorrow? That's not a normal rebalancing . that's a potential ignition event into a market nobody wants to own.

Pension funds are about to do what retail won't. Buy stocks into a wall of fear. Tomorrow is March 31. Quarter-end rebalancing day. Equities got crushed this quarter while bonds rallied. Any fund targeting 60/40 is now underweight stocks vs their mandate. They don't get to have opinions. They rebalance mechanically. This mechanical bid lands into a market where dealers are short over $7B in gamma on $SPY alone. That means every move gets amplified. CTAs are sitting on 344K net short contracts. If price reclaims certain levels, their algorithms flip and start buying too. You get forced pension buying triggering dealer hedging triggering CTA covering. Dominoes. $SPY closed at 631. Put wall sits right here at 630. Gamma flip is up at 653. I think we see 645 to 655 this week before reality reasserts itself. The last three times sentiment dropped below 10 on the Fear & Greed index, the next 30 days averaged over 4% gains. Not because things got better. Because positioning was too one-sided. None of this changes the recession. Dallas Fed just missed again. Oil at 105 is choking consumers. Friday's NFP is the real test. But the most violent rallies happen when nobody wants to be long and the plumbing forces buying anyway. Where does $QQQ end the week? I'm watching that 568 high from today as first resistance. Love to see it

So I’m slowly losing control over my Mac computer. @apple has apparently removed my ability to run unsigned apps. I’ve had to run a command to kill a “gatekeeper” service, then changed system settings, and it still simply refuses to open the app. It used to be a simple right click. I’m going to have to figure out how to downgrade my OS, because this is nonsense. How TF am I supposed to do anything if I can’t run applications that aren’t from the App Store? We live in the age of vibe coding you fools. You have become the very big brother that Apple began as a response to. You are trying to control what I can do on my own hardware in my own home.

Meanwhile you can, for under 2k, hop on a plan and visit and stay in Sicily for a week and realize that humanity has made huge strides and that no one will remember these IPOs, but people still marvel at structures built 2000 years BEFORE Europeans discovered the Americas. This pic was taken 10 minutes ago. You don’t need an ipo to enjoy this. You need a career, purpose, curiosity, and gratitude.

@porterstansb Dude, average yearly wage in 1930 was 80 ounces of gold. This is so much fkn worse than the Great Depression. Our great grandparents were whining about making $400k/year. It was marketing and an outright lie. The Dust Bowl created a food shortage. That’s it. This is way way worse
