@thsottiaux Nah combination of the apps had to happen. Made no sense chatting with 5.5 pro in one app then pasting over the results into codex The tweaks that just need to be made now is the layout. The chat bubble feels kinda weird

Or a generational run. We will continue to make tweaks and we have a TON coming for developers. Meanwhile traffic yesterday sat at ~2X previous peak, team is scrambling to keep everything up and reliable. Time will tell, but I have conviction that attempting to build the one interface to AGI is worthwhile.

It's official: for the first time ever I moved my Hermes agent to ChatGPT. That's how good 5.6 is I was on Opus since day 1, even paying the API pricing (thousands a month), but I still thought the performance benefit was worth it No longer. For the first time ever ChatGPT caught up. Plus they are consumer friendly and let you use your subscription in the harness. Now I'm getting better performance for a fraction of the price. Never thought this day would come but it happened Seen a lot of people asking the best way to do it. Here you go: 1. In your terminal type 'hermes dashboard' 2. This will pop open a dashboard in your browser 3. Go to 'Profiles' 4. In the default profile, click the 3 dots and click 'Change Model' 5. Make sure to choose codex/gpt-5.6-sol. Not the openrouter one if you have a chatgpt subscription Boom you're good to go.

video generation with synchronized sound now runs on a gaming GPU. I benchmarked LTX-2.3 (Lightricks' open ~19B model: 14B for video, 5B for audio, generated together in one pass) on one RTX 5090. - a ~4s clip with synced 48kHz audio: ~40s at 768x512, ~50s at 1280x704 - 10.8 to 12.3 seconds of compute per second of output video - peak VRAM 24.2GB in both configs, no wall at 720p-class - 2.5x the pixels costs only ~14% more time to explain the mechanism, the diffusion transformer is ~5 to 12s of the wall. the rest is decoding latents to pixels and encoding the mp4. the "AI part" is not the bottleneck, so higher resolution is nearly free. render at 1280x704.
