First of all amaze amaze amaze.
Second of all, was terribly anxious until the main set of parachutes opened. Because until then it looked like the equivalent of Mary Poppins flying with a couple of tiny cocktail umbrellas 😭

This was absolute peak to watch From entering the atmosphere to traveling 25000 miles per hour down to parachutes coming out. We rarely ever get to see stuff like this man, SHOUTOUT NASA ❤️

Quick personal update: Today was my last day at Indian Express. It was a privilege to work with one of the best sports media teams in the country. Plenty of memories, plenty of learnings around a lot of great people. And, must day, got a kick out of seeing the byline on print. 😀

This looks like it's a daytime shot, but, it's actually taken from the dark side of Earth, with the planet illuminated by moonlight. This lets faint details like the aurora, stars and the sodium layer show up without over exposing the planet.

We see our home planet as a whole, lit up in spectacular blues and browns. A green aurora even lights up the atmosphere. That's us, together, watching as our astronauts make their journey to the Moon.
