I hope we as an industry sit down and slow down for a second… cause wth is this.
“Skills” have already scope-crept into being both data and execution context.
We don’t have RFCs for agents/skills spec. No spec for the execution layer.
So now:
- markdown can trigger execution
- runtime output is injected into prompts and can be hidden from the user
And there’s no real incentive to converge to a spec either. Even something like agentskills isn’t being followed consistently.
If we don’t standardize early, we’ll end up with a de facto spec defined by whoever markets it best. Along with all their implicit (and likely missing) security assumptions.

if your skill depends on dynamic content, you can embed !`command` in your SKILL.md to inject shell output directly into the prompt Claude Code runs it when the skill is invoked and swaps the placeholder inline, the model only sees the result!

I think if Instagram became Reddit types where there’s a public AI based reel feed for topics. Say I ask Cricket/Funny/Village cricket - if it creates that and I watch that then I don’t even need to log in. Saves my old prompt locally. If you have to create content then login.
Ofcourse meta can show ads, track me with identifiers so next time same phone same request it’ll know me. But no log in if I’m only consuming.

School Education guaranteed a job / SSLC PUC
Any college - Degree guaranteed a job / BCom, BA, BSc, DME
Shifted specific degrees for a higher paying job / MCom, MSc, CA, core Engg
Enter IT industry and engineering if any kind paid / BE is norm
I guess the education business took off with that and is destined to fall and AI just accelerated the exposure of the quality problem.
This is like those times when 1 kind of movie was a hit, everyone made the same kind.
A rethink of Education vs Skill is going to be the next wave.
How many skills and how fast can you learn? How quickly can this be a memo for everyone in the country.

It’s very difficult to imagine this category because you need streaming and internet. Can’t go to any other except iPod touch. It had internet and WiFi so restrict other apps ? But kids then can’t stream when outside so like iPad got to get a data SIM.
No YouTube or allow YouTube ..
There’s absolute need for this but it’s a bit difficult to figure out what is needed. A “managed” iPhone with restrictions ?
This is truly a tough category unless we are allowing offline downloads for say an iPod Nano.
