I care much more about the future of the team with or without giannis to risk an injury in a lost year. Has nothing to do with doc or haslam. I don’t need giannis show ponying because he’s “competitive”. I saw him give up and give poor effort on a handful of occasions this year

Here's the somewhat troubling news in the jobs report:
The unemployment rate fell to 4.3%, but not for great reasons.
There's a big drop (almost -400k) in the labor force. The labor force participation rate also fell. It appears people stopped looking for work in March or perhaps more migrants left the workforce (or both).
This data can move around a lot month-to-month, but it's worth keeping an eye on.

If as a country we cannot put partisan blinders aside to simply acknowledge that these are incompetent people out of their depth, that their incompetence has led to global turmoil and destabilized the economy without strategic direction or purpose, and throw them out of office in 2026 and 2028 in favor of people who at least understand what they’re doing, we will continue to backslide into mediocrity.

This isn’t meant to come off as a knock to CE.
I’m a Christian - and a basketball player. 90% of the NBA is openly Christian. What I find maddening in all this is Christians online twisting the story into “Ivey got waived because he is a Christian.” That’s just a false statement and you’re pushing drama even further.
There are guys that proclaim their faith all over the NBA - it’s a shared faith. There are pre-game Chapel services in EVERY arena where guys come together to worship. There are post-game prayer communities that are visible to fans and cameras.
This isn’t an intolerance issue by the NBA. Far from it. The league wants guys to proclaim what they believe.
With that; You will be fired in ANY job where you become a workplace nightmare. If you continually disrupt the peace and happiness of your colleagues, you will be held accountable. It’s as simple as that.

@JLucroy20 he’s not arguing you’re not conditioned. all he’s saying is baseball is more sprinting than slower jogs that’s all. so for specificity purposes applicable to your sport you should be doing more sprints aka fast twitch type of thing. pitchers are different obviously.

You guys play once a week, we play "almost" everyday.
The pitchers run poles to endure longer outings. Nolan Ryan did them everyday. He played 20 years and was still throwing 95 at 40.
Position players run bases for conditioning in Spring Training. During the season, we don't do much conditioning as an everyday player. Why? Because we play almost EVERYDAY.
Just for myself, I caught 200+ pitches every time I caught. That means I did at least 200 squats every game. (not counting warm ups before game and at start of inning.) If I caught 120 games in a season, that's 24,000 squats I did over the course of the regular season. Plus all of ST, and then the warmups before and during the game.
We play 162 games. Plus Spring training, and then the playoffs if we get there. If you make the WS, you are talking 190+ games. NFL games are brutally violent, and I'm not understating that, but our game is more about endurance and longevity over a 7 month season of daily attrition.
It is a marathon, not a sprint.
