@petergyang @MengTo You just ask it to create and manage threads as needed. Single thread orchestration for the win.

@MengTo How do you use spawned threads and loops?

Don't sleep on Codex. I've been using it since day one. - GPT-5.5 xHigh + full access is beast mode - Computer use + browser use + spawned threads make agent loops incredibly powerful - Picking up tasks from mobile works surprisingly well - The new iOS, web, and macOS build plugins are genuinely useful - I use Codex all day and almost never hit limits Still using Claude for writing (and waiting for Fable 5), and Cursor when I need raw speed. But these days, 95% of my work happens in Codex.
Peter Yang@petergyang

I used to be a die-hard Claude Code user. Codex has won me over because: → GPT-5.5 is excellent → Fast mode + generous limits = more reps → Little touches like steering, auto remote control on phone, etc But most of all Codex's browser and computer use capabilities are simply goated. I built so many workflows relying on those two things alone instead of hunting for APIs. I still use Claude Code too. The app seems to be getting better and the design and frontend capability of Opus is still much better than GPT. Whenever Fable comes back that's another reason to go back. Honestly, I hope these two compete forever and other players (Cursor/Grok, Gemini, etc) all stay competitive. This way the builder keeps winning 🙂

@petergyang Palace of Fine Arts is still fun for kids even if it’s just strolling on the outside, Cable Car ride / Museum, Pier 39 show and Ferris Wheel at the end of the pier, Fort Mason, Chrissy Beach is beautiful at the bottom of the Golden Gate, Adventure Cat Boat Ride, SF Zoo! Enjoy.

What’s there to do in SF with kids beyond the Golden Gate Park and Presidio / Tunnel Tops? Wanna try something new

I can see a world here where an AI video of a video game can be converted into a real game with AI in the future. Simply wild to think about.

@araseb_ Historically, all the new leaders of each big tech trend often don't come from existing companies. Too many layers and legacy infrastructure / people that make it extremely hard to shed their old identity and break out.

The workflow of nailing the target state in all its glory via a rich and beautiful prototype in Claude Design and then bringing it into Codex to bring it to life is very powerful. I can't believe this is now possible.

Everyone has an opportunity to become cognitively superhuman right now, which creates an environment in which someone could be 1000x more productive vs someone who has no idea what to do. The divide is simply unfair and not enough people are focused on this problem.

I'm so exhausted, these AI agents are so good I can't give out tasks fast enough for them to work on. And there are so many things I want to do. AI fatigue is real 😰

@ScriptedAlchemy Couldn't agree more. Hermes and OpenClaw will always have a special place in my heart just for the incredible first time experience of an Agent truly feeling like it's yours. But Codex is so reliable and powerful, yet elegantly simple too. The best agent orchestration = chat.

I love Hermes. But codex is the only piece of software that turns my entire machine into a simple chat. You have any idea how liberating it is to just whip out a phone, pay all my bills, follow up on emails, get api keys, setup whole servers, operate my discord, slack, other apps, deal with OTP - all while I’m taking a stroll in the park. There’s a lot I wish codex did better, but what it can do, it does the best.

After dozens of interviews, I’ve found two types in companies: - super ahead on AI, feels like they are behind - pretty basic AI usage, feels like they have it all figured out

As much as I wish I could use Fable right now, it’s a blessing in disguise for those who got a taste of what’s possible with a model that powerful. It gives you more time to create elaborate plans and specs for all the ideas that you’ve dreamed of building. Lock in.

The thing about remote work is that it’s not for everyone. You need to hire the right people in order for it to work. For those professionals that are well suited for remote work environments, I can tell you from personal experience that people are absolutely happier because work / life balance is real.

It used to feel so ground breaking and cool to ask OpenClaw and Hermes to upgrade itself. Now I get nervous and more often than not, it goes down and I have to troubleshoot it.
