This entire movie was Mike and Bryan's attempt at getting back at ATLA fans for shitting on Korra. Notice that every single critique they had of Korra is present in this movie? The AS spamming, him getting played because he didnt listen(unalaq), got washed in the avatar state multiple times, almost destroyed the Avatar cycle. Has to constantly be saved. It's like they looked up every Reddit Korra slander and turned it into a movie, but with Aang. This movie is made out of pure spite.

there's a difference between understanding the mechanics of something and being a master. katara wasn't even strong enough to undo amons work because she didn't take bloodbending to the next level, instead she outlawed it without thinking of the medical applications.

why would iroh need to open a school? this isnโt new. people outside the royal family have always been able to lightningbend. iroh only invented redirection. iโm not sure where this persistent idea that only the royal family knew how to do it came from but it was never true.

It makes sense cause itโs established Toph was training people and is mostly limited to trained professionals like the police or Suyinโs people. Unless Iroh randomly decided to open up a lightning bending school thereโs no reason the discipline became widespread for it to be used

@starlingsteed aangs deep trauma is unique and no one could ever truly understand it. when tenzin was born, he must've felt so deeply protective of him. i would argue the pressure aang had to make sure his culture would truly pass on, got magnified to unthinkable levels. +

I've watched ATLA & LOK series more than 5 times. And based on my opinion;
1. The most powerful firebender is Ozai
2. The most Skillful & wise firebender is Uncle Iroh
3. The most aggressive firebender is Korra
4. The most Complete firebender is Zuko
5. The most Agile & lightening bender is Azula
6. The best detective firebender in Republic city is Mako.
These are my opinion.
