@BatRachy Agreed. Feels like there's quite a lot of negative stigma and misunderstanding. But hoping it'll be the start of a pathway to more relevant and appropriate therapies and coping mechanisms so that I can start coping with life! And hopefully it'll be the same for you <3

@_sampease Very much the same at the moment. Huge feeling of validation, but also big, heavy and not even sure where to start. I think that's partly why I tweeted it; to out it out there and make it real and not just something I'm trying to sit with. Thanks for sharing with me x

No official diagnosis, but Psych & ISS are under the impression I have EUPD. There's a lot out there at the moment about EUPD & abuse of the diagnosis, but it's the only thing I feel fits how I am. Nice to finally have some validation. Going to pursue a formal diagnosis soon.

@BatRachy I have also had the same 'suspected/possible' diagnosis of this fairly recently. Feels a relief but also heavy at the same time for me. Would be interested to know how it feels for you. Let me know if you want to chat at all.

I mean, it's only taken 20yrs of this shit to get *any* diagnosis at all. Last time I mentioned EUPD a few years ago to a MH nurse at my GP surgery she said I couldn't have it because I'm "nice and run a bookshop" 😬

@BatRachy I reached out the other day and just got ‘I don’t know what to say, sorry’- I mean fair play for their honesty but totally put me off from reaching out ever again.

There is nothing more likely to make me never talk again than being told to "open up", "reach out" or to "never let it get that bad". Jesus fucking chriiiiist, leave me alone.
