@thriftyflmama @MermsMrsg @JasonReynolds83 We did the reverse order with our 8th grade students! This is my fifth year teaching Monster (LOVE that book,) and my first year teaching Long Way Down. Kids who used to hate reading are admitting that maybe there are some good books. ;-)

@JasonReynolds83, I'm currently teaching LONG WAY DOWN to my 8th grade English students. We've just finished the 7th floor, and they're already saying this is the #bestbookever. AND they keep asking me for your other books. Thank you for reaching so many reluctant readers!

@anthonymandler, any ideas for when Monster will be released to the general public? My 8th graders and I read the novel last fall, and can't wait to see the movie in theaters! I've been checking IMDB almost every day for updates!
