@turleyn @mcsuggafree @SLCScanner Yeah it’s pretty easy to go through the gate to access this at the top of great western. If you don’t traverse really far skiers left to get back to the lift, you can very easily end up at these houses and have to walk back to Brighton. Happened to me before years ago.

@mcsuggafree @SLCScanner There’s a backcountry access gate at the top of a lift to get to the terrain above that. Lots of backcountry skiing in the area uses roads for access or is next to private property

#BrightonSkiResort A skier on his very last run of his trip, goes down a snow packed road called Old Prospect Ave that connects to S Big Cottonwood Canyon Road. He is confronted and pushed by an older male with a #Shotgun that is camped out on a chair waiting for skiers to come down the road. He tells him he is on private property and if he comes down again he will have holes in him. I totally understand protecting your property but come on. His and a bunch of other houses are on that road right next to 2 major #SkiResorts. Looking on Google Earth there are no signs at the entrance saying it’s private property. This is something that @UPDSL needs to look into. It’s only a matter of time before he shoots and kills someone.

@ReaIScottStapp Polars are the absolute best. They fly off the shelves here in SLC. Wish I could find toasted coconut more often though. And they switched from 12 packs at $2.99 to 8 packs at $2.49 here at the local Winco 😫. Still not bad considering 12 packs of lacroix are like $5-6!

Update: AZ has been great 🫶🏼 Got a job offer yesterday after being unemployed for 5 months! Lots of canyoneering and MTB. Refresh yesterday at an Airbnb and back out today for another week in the desert 🤠 The Tigermoth setup is amazing and I love it very much. Grateful 🥲

Got a tiny taste of the annular eclipse last weekend near the nipple spot in Moab ;). Can’t wait for this. See ya soon!

Oregon Eclipse 2017 was one of the best fests ever. 30,000+ people watching the total solar eclipse together in silence. When the sun came out from behind the moon it looked like a bomb went off. So excited to be a part of the @texas_eclipse gathering in April. Don’t sleep on it!
