@kirplatonov @atomgiant We're on it! We fixed it originally but this one is unfortunately persistent. The intent is certainly to allow an accelerated path in this case.

@atomgiant @aevershed Awesome, I hope the fix is coming soon

@yeramianm @liam_at_shopify @ShopifyDevs @aevershed Excellent. That's great news. Thanks for the update.

Looks like the new Shopify dev dashboard broke collaborator access requests for orgs with an app on a merchant's store.
Created a thread on the dev community if you're hitting this too: community.shopify.dev/t/regression-c…

@IconUtopia @Shopify hey @IconUtopia - that's me! Feel free to shoot me a DM and I'd love to hear more
English

@yeramianm hey Mark, I'll send you a DM to get some details. This doesn't sound expected!
English

@Vincent_Younan @atleeclark Not yet, but something we're very aware of
English

@atleeclark Are we able to get access to the POS channel through collaborator/partner access?
English

Partners: we heard you on team management. Roles instead of per-user permissions, and all your stores are in one place.
This is the first of several improvements coming for the partner community. 👀

So excited to get this into the hands of Partners soon! A big first step in our path to burn down the toil of building on Shopify
We're moving our Partners towards using first-class features our merchants know & love, ensuring everyone benefits when we ship improvements.

@EmmettNaughton @gilgNYC Not chrome! We made that change inspired by some other great software we use

Staging on Shopify is getting a major upgrade.
I had the pleasure of announcing Bulk Data Management via Shopify CLI at our .dev conference: making store copy faster, safer, and simpler.

@FORSBERGtwo Great to hear! Would love to hear feedback when we release in the next few weeks
English

@jodyjeffrey hey Jody - we're working on it! Our early release is coming soon with support for many more resources soon after shopify.dev/beta/store-copy
English

Third, lots of improvements to bulk data: you can now upsert by custom IDs, making it dead-simple to use productSet, customerSet, and more to integrate external systems. Additionally, you can look up many more resources by custom ID

Speaking of which - for those of you joining us at editions.dev I'll be talking at main stage about what's coming. I won't spoil what you'll see on stage, but you won't be disappointed.

I'm late to twitter, but super excited by what we've shipped at Shopify Editions Summer '25 and can't wait to get more into it at editions.dev this week! Some highlights for were multi-entity Shopify, Bulk Data management, and huge improvements to Custom IDs ⬇️
English

Last but not least, we made significant changes to how you can integrate with external systems - starting with introducing Custom IDs. This is a new metafield type that guarantees uniqueness within your store, allowing you to add your references to external systems for better cross-store or external system integrations.
We added Upsert support to the productSet and customerSet APIs. This allows a better desired-state API implementation that doesn’t require requests to understand if a resource already exists, then doing a create or update call based on that context. It’s just one call: we handle the rest.
Together, broader upsert support and custom IDs will evolve to allow for upsert by Custom ID, making any integrations with Shopify significantly simpler and less error-prone.

We also made it easier to authenticate when you’re doing sensitive actions in the admin. We want to make sure any important action is taken by you and only you. Previously, we only supported passwords no matter the type of account or how you logged into Shopify. But we’re in a new world now: Passkeys, SAML, and more are important, more secure and growing! Now we support any method you might have, all within the admin experience - think FaceID for Shopify. You’ll start to see this rolling out more widely in the near future.

This was a fun Edition shipping not-boring improvements to boring features. Super proud of some of these massively foundational changes my teams made to make it easier to operate a business of any size on Shopify as well as simplify integrations into the platform.
