Forgot to bring voting sheets to the Swedish Melo watch party tonight (national Eurovision).. Took me exactly 14 minutes from idea to having an app where everyone could vote and see the party leaderboard, all served from my own mac mini at home. Tinkering with OpenClaw is so much fun, and quite the party trick! 😅🦞 Ended up with lots of easter eggs too.. the future should be fun!

Shopify is pushing developers to use Polaris web components instead of React. Which is fine, but they no longer provide versioned releases, causing things to break at random when they release a new version and you have no clue when something changed. So I'm launching this little unofficial changelog website where AI tries to figure out what changed. Link below 😄

@dave_cameron Thanks for looking into it Dave! Noticed it works on normal buttons, so having it in s-page would be really useful too 🙏

@FORSBERGtwo Taking a look at this Bjorn, it appears we don't forward those events when used in s-page currently.

Seems Shopify Polaris Web Components buttons don't emit events other than click. I wanted to add a "hover" eventListener on the s-page primary action button, but no dice 🧐 Is this is skill issue (on my part) or something that could be supported @dave_cameron ? Use case: Add a prefetch on hover, speeding up the actual navigation once clicked. Note: This is a s-page s-button, within a s-app-window context.

@FORSBERGtwo From what I see so far, the recommended solution would be splitting into metaobjects and referencing them as list instead. Though, it won't help with app settings that are stored on Shop and can be a big JSON by design.

That's a painful change by Shopify out of the blue. I'm using JSON metafields since 2021 to store app settings and data for fast access by theme extension. And it's all going to break as not fitting new limit...

Added this small feature to Rankbase. You can now filter results by search type (Organic, paid)

@dhh @SebastianSzturo The main limitation I’ve found is there’s currently no easy way to get a person’s assignments. Also no efficient get for todos/cards without knowing the ancestors upfront. Endpoints or a cli that gets around those would be **chef’s kiss** 😊

@SebastianSzturo Next up is the CLI for Basecamp. But I think it's also still up in the air how much accommodation the agents actually need. OpenClaw/Pi are rewriting the rules around that right now.

We're all still fumbling in the dark with agents, but some patterns are emerging (and some disappear quickly again!), and it's our role as software makers to make use of it all along the way. Here are some quick notes from one of those internal sessions sorting it all at 37s.
