The UK Foreign Secretary says she is “deeply troubled" by Israel's latest massacre in Lebanon. So “troubled” that the government still supplies Israel with weapons and intelligence. Israel is committing war crimes in Lebanon - and this government is shamefully complicit.

Some of the victims of yesterday’s Israeli “eternal darkness” operation in Lebanon. Hundreds were killed and thousands wounded, many of them women and children. American tax dollars paid for this.

PAKISTAN: The unlawful detention of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters yesterday, who were protesting outside Adiala jail, Rawalpindi, is yet another example of the repression of the right to protest in the country. Among those detained were former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sisters, Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khanum, who had gathered outside the Adiala jail premises as part of court-mandated weekly family visits which have been denied since 2 December 2025. Instead of facilitating lawful visitation, authorities responded with arbitrary detention, tear gas and baton charge. Imran Khan’s sisters and other women protesters were forcibly confined for hours in a closed shop near the jail, while dozens of others were detained in the open air for nearly five hours in torrential rain. This incident is part of a pattern of targeting PTI supporters and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s family by criminalizing peaceful protest and using sweeping and arbitrary bans through section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as a blanket tool to silence dissent. Amnesty International urges the Pakistani authorities to immediately end their crackdown on peaceful protests, respect the rights to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly and ensure unhindered access to court‑mandated family visits for Imran Khan.

It's true, the edit history on this tweet from the Pakistan Prime Minister -- which Trump just cited as the basis for his "ceasefire" statement -- suggests it was copy-and-pasted from... somewhere. And it would certainly be strange if fellow Pakistanis called him "Pakistan's PM"

Ukraine has developed drones that operate without GPS, using an optical odometry system from NASA’s Martian helicopters and Qualcomm chips, according to Russian military bloggers. At the final stage of the attack, the drone turns off communication and becomes fully autonomous. It compares images from its cameras with a pre-loaded map of heights and terrain in real time. This makes the drone invisible to detectors and invulnerable to electronic warfare systems.

My father, Senator Ejaz Chaudhary is in illegal incarceration for last 3 years. Since last few weeks various indicators of his health and overall energy levels indicated that something was amiss. After great difficulty we were able to get his blood work and check up done. It was diagnosed that his Kidney function has been severely affected and he now has Chronic Kidney Disease at Stage 3. He, along with his companions is languishing in Jail with their appeals and petitions for suspensions not getting fixed before LHC. When they do get fixed, cause list is cancelled or prosecution doesn’t show up, etc. Our constitution ensures dignity of life. Are we not Pakistanis? @PTIofficial
