100 indie hackers showed up today 🤯 It’s the 3rd biggest meetup I organized and I still can’t believe it happened in Korea. When I was there in 2018, there was barely no one building indie startups. Korea is a really nice place for indie hackers because there are coworking spaces (cafes) with AC everywhere. And also good, healthy, and cheap food. It’s very convenient. Anyway, we met at 8am for an optional run, and 80 people showed up to sweat together! More than half of them either don’t run or don’t wake up early, so a lot of people got out of the comfort zone today 😁 Thank you everyone for joining today 🫰 대한민국 만세 🇰🇷

Lots of people asked how I used Fable to edit its own launch video so I made a video about that! TLDR it wrote a lot of code & tool calls to use transcription services, ffmpeg, do colorgrading, use the figma mcp, make remotion UI and render it. I didn't touch a video editor.

I’m organizing the 9th Indie Hacker Meetup 🤩 📍 Seoul, Korea 📅 Saturday, June 13 🕣 8:00–10:00 AM I want to keep these meetups fun, so we’ll start with a run together. At 8 AM, we’ll run ~8km along the Han River (한강) at a chill pace (~6:00 min/km). Then around 9 AM, we’ll head back to the starting point and hang out.
