@Axel_bitblaze69 This data shows the zora network usage, not the zora protocol usage. The zora network was an old L2 that is no longer really used or relevant. Basically all Zora activity is happening on Base now, not on the zora network

$ZORA is going absolute bonkers, but the metrics aren’t matching the pump at all. - New addresses per month dropped from over 60k at launch to under 10k now - Retention is falling off most new cohorts stick around for barely 1-2 months -Contract creation peaked above 100k, now down to basically nothing - Transactions have fallen from nearly 6 million a month to less than 1.5 million - User count nuked from 200k+ at the peak to around 50k now So yeah, price is ripping but the fundamentals look weak. What am I missing here?

@GorryTan Lowkey made me sway more towards supporting the closure + pro Joel. Thought closure was useless because no one was actually using it but vid showed a good amount of people walking/cycling. Also the buildings render looked great this area is super underdeveloped

Zora has been my life’s work for over five years now. I like to joke that we’ve found a thousand ways to not tokenize a picture. Each iteration from small tweaks, to new features, to token types and market models has brought us closer to the vision of helping information on the internet be valued and as free to share as possible. All while creating an open market for that value to flow between creators, collectors and traders of it all. We used to have hundreds of users a month in 2020, we’ve had millions in recent weeks. If there’s one thing we know how to do as a team (who I am incredibly thankful for and proud of), it’s to keep iterating and shipping to discover the most powerful version of Zora.
