@DominicTarason I was very wary of it but have been having a good time. The learning curve is so harsh though, had to restart my campaign a few times.

@GenreFilmAddict It's woefully under-recognised. More people appreciate Hard Target these days, but too few give Broken Arrow the love it deserves. Peak Travolta, beautiful landscapes, and four exploding helicopters!

Is Broken Arrow a beloved Woo flick? I feel it should be. What struck me when I rewatched last year was how much jt felt like Woo doing his take on a Western but updated for the age of nukes, jeeps, helos, and pilots

@DominicTarason I get what you mean about Styx but I found the story of Master of Shadows to be quite clever - Shards of Darkness, not so much.

Lots of really good stuff in this bundle. 50p/50 cents per game if you pick 10. I highly recommend both Rebel Galaxy games (two very different takes on space sandboxes in a shared setting), and the Styx games (good mechanics and art, bad writing) fanatical.com/en/pick-and-mi…

It also makes the most extensive and surprising use of the mask gags. So much clever misdirection, but Woo of course delivers an all-timer action blowout for the climax.

Dougray Scott doesn't get enough credit. He's brilliantly creepy as Sean Ambrose, a ruthless villain who is Hunt's physical and tactical equal. And we get Thandiwe Newton! And Anthony Hopkins! And Brendan Gleeson!

I've said it many times, but Mission Impossible II is so underrated. The genius Woo directs the hell out of it, the psychosexual/love triangle element lifts it, and all the action is top-drawer.
