I’m happy to announce that I’ll be stepping down from my role as Head of Growth at @EIP7503 and transitioning into an advisory position focused on Growth. I joined WORM in its early stages of development as the growth lead. My core objectives were to design the go-to-market strategy, build the user onboarding framework, lead business development and partnerships, and coordinate the ICO. Through a number of strategic adjustments and operational improvements within the team, we were able to significantly expand Worm’s reach, growing our social presence, transaction volume, and overall user activity by over 25x across key metrics. This was also my first hands-on experience leading growth for a protocol at this scale. My time at Worm has been incredibly productive. Working alongside top-tier developers and contributors, we were able to bring the protocol to fruition despite operating largely as a remote team. Even in challenging market conditions, we successfully raised 327 ETH to launch the protocol, with tremendous support from the @cypher_ethereum team, who played a leading role in the process. In my new advisory role, I’ll continue supporting the team by helping guide Worm’s growth strategy as the protocol evolves and scales.

Let's take a quick look at what WORM @EIP7503 is building. Ethereum runs a transparent blockchain. Every transaction is visible, and that means anyone looking at the chain can trace what’s happening. But a lot of users want privacy and do not want the public peering in to their on-chain finance without their consent. This is the genesis of the problem of privacy. At first, protocols like Tornado Cash came in to provide a solution to the privacy issue, but because their solution allows others to see on-chain that a certain wallet interacted with their protocol, centralized exchanges became able to blacklist those wallets limiting the financial freedom of those users. This is where WORM comes in. WORM addresses the privacy problem not just by providing privacy, but by making privacy look like any ordinary activity. Instead of systems that allow your wallet to be marked as a “privacy user" due to their public states on a blockchain, WORM uses a mechanism where burning ETH and minting a new token is done in a way that can not be differentiated from normal transactions. In other words, WORM is about plausible deniability. It makes private actions look like any other action on Ethereum, so that you’re not waving a flag that says “I’m using a privacy tool.” That’s the core idea, and that’s why I think you should look into what they're building.
