And trust me, you’re not the only one confused haha😀 Sometimes Crypto sounds complicated at first because people throw around big words like everyone already understands them lol but it’s fine let me explain it to you the best way I can First I have to start by explaining What exactly is Solstice? As you already know, Solstice is basically a crypto company building tools that help people earn yield on their crypto. They mainly have for now USX which is a stablecoin (basically a digital dollar) And YieldVault which is a tool that helps users earn interest/yield on their crypto Both are built on Solana, a blockchain known for being super fast and cheap to use. Think of Solana like a smooth express highway for moving money around quickly. Now back to your question why are they talking about Ethereum and stETH? And fr this is where people usually get confused. Ethereum is another blockchain. It’s older, bigger, and where most large crypto investors operate, no argument on that. On Ethereum, people can “stake” ETH. Staking simply means: You lock up your ETH to help secure the network, and in return, you earn rewards, kind of like earning interest from a savings account. When you stake ETH through Lido, you receive something called stETH. stETH is basically a receipt or proof showing: “Hey, I staked ETH and I’m earning rewards.” I’m sure you’re getting it ? Simplest way to picture it is Imagine a super secure private vault built specifically for large institutions. Normally, if you stake ETH, withdrawing can take days. But stVaults make it possible for institutions to access liquidity much faster. Now Why does that matter? Because lenders and big firms often use stETH as collateral for loans. If markets suddenly crash or something goes wrong, they may need to sell quickly. Solstice’s setup helps make that process safer and faster. So how does this help Solana users?
