Hey, listen, I'm sympathetic. They're saying the same things I am in conversations with the developers sometimes, fighting for specific skins for characters that they just don't see it for. It is absolutely true that they don't have it 100% right all of the time, and maybe this is one of those times! People should absolutely speak up if there's money they want to spend on the game for specific things that the game isn't offering them. That's in the game's best interest! And I'm happy they do it, because I want the game to last forever, and that's just one way we make sure that happens. But the day-to-day state of things, it's important to acknowledge is the result of existing sales metrics. It's a business! This isn't them playing favorites or scheming in some way. The team wants what's best for the game too. We've all got a role to play

Crimson Desert is fun to play, but it is such a cynical amalgamation of borrowed mechanics. It is Now That's What I Call Gaming plucked off a gas station shelf, for better & worse. Expect a lot more of this in premium & F2P. There is less risk in it.

@Ras_Al_Him Sure, and there are plenty of great runs that do tell standalone stories in (pretty much) every issue. Hickman's "X-Men" comes to mind, but I'm very partial to Dini's "Detective Comics" run. I have no issue with the structure.

Reading Ryan North’s “Fantastic Four”, and just really wishing I could get on board with it. But it ultimately feels like the distillation of “nicecore” to its essence, nothing but empty low stakes pleasantness with nothing resembling real drama. (Fantastic Four #26.)

We have a cool history naming key Blue hardware that dates back to New Shepard. We’re calling New Glenn’s first booster “So You’re Telling Me There’s a Chance.” Why? No one has landed a reusable booster on the first try. Yet, we’re going for it, and humbly submit having good confidence in landing it. But like I said a couple of weeks ago, if we don’t, we’ll learn and keep trying until we do.
