You aren’t bullish enough on $AMZN. This got 30 million views in just 11 hours. It gives everybody a complete remote worker in their pocket. You don’t need to deal with MCP, connectors, or anything else. Can you imagine what this will do to token usage? Models can interact with other applications also powered by LLMs using your computer. Token usage will skyrocket, so will Anthropic’s revenues. AWS will be a direct beneficiary as most of Anthropic’s inference workloads run on AWS. Barclays predict AWS growth to hit 34% in Q3 this year while UBS sees a path for 38% annual growth. You aren’t bullish enough.

You can now enable Claude to use your computer to complete tasks. It opens your apps, navigates your browser, fills in spreadsheets—anything you'd do sitting at your desk. Research preview in Claude Cowork and Claude Code, macOS only.

"People are saying" isn't evidence of efficacy. @MartinShkreli is right here. RCT or bust. Let's take the recent case of Semaglutide in Alzheimer's. People were saying: Look, Semaglutide works for Alzheimers! Clinical, longitudinal data shows a reduced incidence of Alzheimer's in people on Semaglutide. We "controlled for all confounders" and got it published in a *prestigious* journal. But, when Novo enrolls thousands of patients in two large RCT, suddenly... the effect disappears. Curious! But, BPC-157, the ~peptide~ that only one group in Croatia publishes on is totally real and not a placebo. And, we totally know that the white powders coming from China are *actually* BPC-157, not some other white powder, because the black-market "Research Use Only" vendors have incentives only to be honest If the evidence is real, @maxmarchione needs to name names. Who were the 20 esteemed MDs? What clear, pre-specified case study shows the effect? If the physicians and evidence are real, why not share? To me, this vague wording appears strategic. Max is touting untested, untested molecules as a complement to his blood testing business. He admits he wants to sell "compounded" versions of them once the legal liability of marketing unapproved drug products is mitigated. Let's see the "thousands of doctors" and "millions of patients" worth of not AI-generated anecdotes

Superpower co-founder @maxmarchione describes how he went from being a peptide skeptic to a peptide believer: "When I was first introduced to peptides, one of the most esteemed doctors in the US said to me: 'You take so many supplements. Have you explored peptides? Because I think they're a really interesting modality with a few decades of clinical use.'" "When he said that to me, I was like, 'No way. This is BS. I'm not injecting myself with something. That's weird.'" "So what I did is, I went around to around 20 different doctors whose opinions I respect, and I asked them about peptides. Normally when you ask these doctors about anything — you ask about red meat, spinach, [etc.] — they're all divided." "With peptides, all of them except one said 'These are really interesting. I have used these in my patients. I believe endogenous molecules — peptides that exist in our body — are going to be the future of medicine.'" "And those doctors have the incentive not to be wrong. If they're wrong, they could go to jail. If they're wrong, they can have their license stripped. If they're wrong, patients don't come back to them. They have the maximum incentive. And for 10 to 20 years, they still give [peptides] to their patients. And their patients say 'My life changed.'" "You might say it's placebo. My statement is that the patient says their life changes, and the doctor sees that."

$IREN We are excited to announce the release of our full analysis on the $IREN Prince George, BC Data center. Check out our full deep dive in the first comment 🔽 The Prince George campus operates with 50 megawatts of power capacity sourced from the renewable hydroelectric grid. This twelve acre property at 1022 Pickering Road provides a stable base for high density compute clusters. Specialized infrastructure designs targets a PUE of 1.1 by leveraging the cold northern climate. The facility supports next generation NVIDIA Blackwell systems with liquid cooling technology to handle 80 kilowatts per rack. IREN controls the entire power delivery process through its ownership of the land and the on site electrical substation.

There are at least 6 problems in no particular order: -mislabeling or intentionally disguising the amount SaaS exposure in some porfolios -no concept of portfolio construction for some of the direct lending managers -mismarking and/or marking inconsistencies across funds -other uses of leverage away from the basic bank/bond/clo financing of direct lending - 2nd outs, jv’s, direct clo equity investments to juice returns and mask the real underlying leverage of the portfolio -250bln of the direct lending market is in “semi-liquid” products where underlying isn’t liquid at all -prisoners dilemma for LP’s of that last bucket - if you don’t redeem do you just get left with the turds? Everyone has to make their own opinion on the SaaS and AI disruptions threatened loans. I think there will be a very interesting secondary opportunity as entities look to sell to meet redemptions or reduce exposure to areas they are too overweight. Right now though to your point Boaz the public BDC’s at .85 -.95 GAV - I look at GAV not EQUITY NAV bc the latter ignores the ultimate downside risk - are cheap to where these secondary private portfolios are offered/trading - I think there will be a convergence in the near future given the amount likely to come for sale.

Bam Adebeyo's 83-points was 8.5 standard deviations above his average. This is so large it breaks data floating point precision limits in returning an exact statistical probability of occurring. I'm led to believe this is a 1 in 166 quadrillion chance

Iran is now deploying mines in Strait of Hormuz. You might be wondering like everyone else: How do I profit off Iran mining the waterway for oil? Here's how: Sonar for Minefields: $CODA, $KRKNF. Coda Octopus ( $CODA, $174M): 3D/4D/5D volumetric sonar for mines in muddy water. DAVD for U.S. Navy EOD to defuse mines. Kraken Robotics ( $KRKNF, $2.97B): KATFISH towed underwater vehicle is actively used by NATO navies for high-speed, high-resolution seabed mapping and minehunting Mine Identification and Disposal: Exail ( $EXALF, 2.2B MC ): Operates MIDS - Mine Identification and Disposal Systems This is the biggest tailwind of the year for underwater defense companies: As the battle moves from land to underseas: Search and Destroy for Iranian mines in the Straight. Given this is brand new news, that came out a few minutes ago, don’t think they’ve been priced in yet.
