I am exhausted, and I am ashamed.

Of course this exhaustion is nothing compared to the suffering of civilian populations being mercilessly targeted by the Israeli government with weapons paid for by my taxes.

I haven’t posted about the events in Gaza, Israel, Lebanon, etc in a while, not because they cease to horrify me — quite the opposite. It is exhausting to process the scale of the violence.

@NateSilver538 Washington sports teams won the Stanley Cup AND World Series within the last six years. So ummm … what?

If DC had cool sports teams it would be a radically improved city. It's the worst sports town in America.

Why are the DC sports franchises so weird? Wizards/Commanders/Nationals/Capitals all of these brands are punching below their weight except maybe the Caps.
